Dirk Maassen

After sold-out shows in Germany, Netherlands, Spain and Switzerland, pianist, composer and streaming sensation Dirk Maassen brings a rare UK performance to London.

As an electrical engineer by day, Maassen never imagined launching a successful international recording and touring career as a musician and composer. His musical journey started by uploading a “self-recorded solo piano track to his SoundCloud,, which rapidly shot to the top of the classical charts. Not long after, his career took off when his self-published piano recordings went viral and turned into genre hits, gaining millions of listeners worldwide.

Maassen is signed with Sony Classical, and his recent album Time entered #6 in the official German Classic Charts. When creating this album, he retreated to a remote mountain hut to find his inner melody and his true self in the solitude and silence.
