The Piano Guys - now on sale!

11/02/2011

The Piano Guys  are delighted to return to the UK in June 2015 following sell out performances in London and Manchester earlier this year.

The Piano Guys began as an internet phenomenon; four Utah dads who created a series of strikingly original self-made music videos with a quirky-yet-virtuoso take on making classical music hip with a rock 'n' roll style. With over 500 million views and 3.2millon subscribers of their YouTube videos and three chart topping albums, their staggering online popularity has resulted in sold out concerts around the world.

The history of the group begins with Paul Anderson who owned a piano shop in a small Utah town. This is where successful solo pianist Jon Schmidt came in to practice. Eventually Paul and Jon collaborated with Al Van Der Beek and cellist Steve Sharp Nelson and. Together the 4 men created YouTube sensational hits. They are a thriving team of songwriters, producers, editors, and musicians.  Their hit YouTube channel brought along popularity and a label with Sony.  The first three major label albums each reached number one on Billboard in the New Age Album and Classical Album categories. Their albums include, The Piano Guys, The Piano Guys 2, and A Family Christmas. A fourth album titled Wonders, is due 7 October, 2014 and is sure to be a successful work. The Piano Guys 2014-2015 tour travels throughout the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, France, Hungary and the United States.

The Piano Guys are ready to return to the UK for another successful tour. Due to the fact that the previous tour was extremely popular, The Piano Guys will perform at 5 venues throughout the UK this year instead of two.
Symphony Hall, Birmingham - 9 June
Royal Concert Hall, Nottingham - 10 June
Bridgewater Hall, Manchester- 11 June
Usher Hall, Edinburgh12 June
Eventim Apollo, London - 13 June

With new incredible works and an up- and- coming new album this year’s tour is an event that cannot be missed.
